Yes, it's that time of year again. Time to get out the secateurs and get to the agapanthus.

Ranked the 5th worst weed in Yarra Ranges due to it's spread, it is prolific in the Dandenong Ranges and is currently setting seed after summer flowering.

Agapathus out compete the native groundcovers and grasses and harbour slugs and snails. You can help control their spread by giving them a good beheading now.
